Hello, I’m Shu Hu. I am completing my PhD in Economics at ANU under the supervision of John Stachurski (chair), Fedor Iskhakov and Timothy Kam.
I’m interested in combining mathematical theory, computational methods, and high-quality economic data to study how heterogeneity arises, how networks form, and how both shape economic distributions, mobility, and the propagation of shocks.
